Great song. I love Sugar....also love the Pixies and Husker Du. Mould has said he wrote it as a homage to the Pixies who were ironically highly influenced by Husker Du. Bassline is very similar but different notes.

Pixies def influenced lots of bands.. for me the biggest Pixies reap off was Nirvana. You all know which song.;).. every Artist has "copied" someone else. Some more obviously than others.I love the Pixies, but that song... i gets me too..:O

went to their first UK gig at the princess charlotte in leicester and had a chat with them all afterwards - really cool down to earth people - went to another 6 of their uk gigs on the strength of that performance, such a good live band
