This was one of the first songs I heard after my daughter was born 21 years ago today. She had numerous health problems for the first 5 years and this song was the anthem to keep me strong for her in the hospital visits.

I love this song. Always brings me to tears. My sister pointed out years ago that this song was written for me. The only things off are the months. I was born October 1961. Got married July 1985. My mother died in heart surgery November 1. 1989. I miss her so much. Cry every time I hear this song My daughters were born in June 1989 and October 1993. So I add two years and remove two years to make it 1991.
