This was the first LP I bought by Andre Previn in 1958. I still have it and like every record in my collection, near pristine collection. My wife tells everyone that my record collection is "my third child".

this was when jazz was at its apex. It was accesible to the public unlike today when jazz has become so abstruse it is beyond most people

This wonderful take on a hardly jazzy song should inspire every listener to buy the CD. The variety is excellent, a tribute to: practicing. Look for a priceless Previn memoir: "No Minor Chords." As is to be expected, he writes well, and never promotes himself, but is admiring of others, including Ava Gardner.
