This was the first LP I bought by Andre Previn in 1958. I still have it and like every record in my collection, near pristine collection. My wife tells everyone that my record collection is "my third child".

When I first heard this over 40 years ago I thought it was the coolest. It still is.

Previn sank when he saw the album selling for 50 cents at garage sale

this was when jazz was at its apex. It was accesible to the public unlike today when jazz has become so abstruse it is beyond most people

His "Camelot" jazz album was my first piano jazz album, bought by mother for me. Loved it!

This wonderful take on a hardly jazzy song should inspire every listener to buy the CD. The variety is excellent, a tribute to: practicing. Look for a priceless Previn memoir: "No Minor Chords." As is to be expected, he writes well, and never promotes himself, but is admiring of others, including Ava Gardner.

The quintessential British Musical written in New York I love how both in this and Camelot that the SHOWSTOPPER is sung by someone other than the lead

And the cool thing is - he’s not pretending, it is actually swinging jazz. He is feeling it and poring out onto the keys. Will we see his like again?
