This music is a masterpiece of humanity! So much valuable.

I know this is the original Blue Note recording of Moaning, but I prefer the video of this song with this same personnel, despite the fact the the sound quality is worse. All soloists, especially Morgan and the composer Timmons, perform better solos on the video.

Just imagine where we would be as a race if we were just left alone, unrestrained, unrestricted, admired and appreciated. My guess... on top of the world in every nation. Yet despite so much hatred, our light has cracked through the cement of bigotry and idiocy. Btw... Benny Golson’s sax solo is like galaxy level. Marvelous!!!

Still one of my favorite sax solos ever. I can’t find one instance where Benny didn’t play the perfect note or lick. Just flawless.
