Bellowhead - The Outlandish Knight download song

Very pleased to discover this band, which nobly upholds the Fairport/Steeleye tradition! The fiddle line in this song has an eerie, Bulgarian sort of sound. The orchestration is rich and spare at the same time - not at all overproduced, to my ear.

Too much brass for a supposed folk band.

I love songs that tell stories. :D

This sounds to me like folk the musical, like a medley of Cats with the theme tune to Blackadder, however its fun and puts a new slant on old material....anyway I enjoyed it (but still prefer the Nic Jones version).

I like to listen to this when I am feeling angry and my feminist side comes out ;) I wish I was on a cliff top with 2 horses and certain people......
