Horace Parlan played with Ervin a lot in various Charles Mingus groups.

Booker and Dex respected each other. There was not bad attitude or disrespectyful jokes between the two. Only good Music and nice collaboration.

But, it is an album with Erwin and Dexter Gordon from late 60:ies.. Dexter is just making jokes of Booker and is really mean. Sorry.
