I went into the Army in 66 and finished my 3 years with Uncle Sam, at SHAPE Belgium. I served with a friend who served with Frankie in Fort Gordon, Ga. He told me Frankie was such a smooth singer and they would all get a bottle of scotch th share and he would sing for the platoon in the barracks at night. Yes, he was a musical genius and so typical of many extraordinary talents who meet the same fate. Why?
