Herbie Mann - MEMPHIS UNDERGROUND download song

This is just a note to those who thought that WNEW 102.7FM was just a rock-station, beginning in the late 60’s, and continuing thru the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s, I’ll never forget hearing Memphis Underground followed up immediately by B.B. and “Why I sing the Blues”.

I just heard this the other day on wxpn out of Pennsylvania a member-supported radio station man this is one killer jam

Herbie Mann is new to me, but very interesting music. Like the Memphis one most.

I think the guitar is a les paul or fender jazz master telecaster!

My chess teacher from Wade JHS 117 Bronx NY hipped me to this probably 1970. Thank you Mr Marshall on both fronts
