Although I was only 9 when this was released, I knew it was something I loved. Jan and Dean, among others, helped inspire my own musical interests. I took piano lessons for years, played trumpet from the 5th grade through high school in our marching band, sang in my high school and college chorus, college marching band, majored in music Ed., and was in a jazz band after college. All because a 9 year old boy heard some really cool songs on the radio in the early 60s
