ONE MORE SONG BY JIMMY YANCEY A BOOGIE WOOGIE PIANIST WHO RECORDED FROM 1939-1951. During World War I, Yancey played baseball for the Chicago All-Americans, a Negro league baseball team. From 1925 to 1950 he worked as a groundskeeper for the Chicago White Sox. How Long Blues was recorded in 1939 and is just so beautiful.
