Sad to think you are gone... No, not now! However only in body.. You live on and left your heart and songs for us to carry on... When I first saw you in person w/ Edgar Winter and you walked out to your piano, it was like an Angel entered the room..oh I was so excited! I came up in front to get so close to you as I could. Then an awesome feeling came over and awe struck I was.. Could not move but just stare at your beautiful self. Your hair was long and a glowing light shinning on you, struck with love, I could not move!.. I will never lose that feeling and you will forever live and be in my heart... As a lifelong fan, I got to see him at Jazzbones in Tacoma, Wa.  A small venue. His tour bus was out front and it took two guys to walk him in and set him down at his piano. After that it was pure Leon. So happy I finally got to see one of my all time favorites. RIP Mr. Russel.

This album cover used to scare the crap out of me when I was a kid and it seemed like every house I went to when I was a wee lad had this album. My Dad had it, my uncle had it, all my parents friends seemed to have it all these years later, now I own it. Funny how life works.
