I was a young kid when the duo was cranking this music out---never got tired--to this day, of listening and enjoying. They were a very special talent--not many as unique as them.

This song was written by Ernest Seitz a Canadian mainly classical pianist. The words are by his University of Toronto classmate Gene Lockhart ( from London ,Ontario) who went on to a long career as a movie actor in the USA ( whose daughter had the lead in all the "Lassie" movies). In 1944 Seitz examined me in Grade 6 at the Hamilton Ontario Conservatory of Music
