I always wondered why Maurice Chevailer singing has a different accent in french than lets say Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Yves Montand, etc. Why the strong RRR sound. Is this the singing style of the early 1900s.?. Has french pronunciation changed in 1950s singing style.Would Emmanuel Macron sing a french song in the strong accent of Maurice Chevaier nowadays. Can anyone laissez-moi savoir.
