When I saw him play this he introduced it as a kind of "gospel, raggae, tent meeting" kind of song. Listen to how tight that band is, man. Maynard forever.

Had to learn the second trombone part to this for my high school jazz band in a few days cause I was called up for a recording session and a competition since the usual second trombonist couldn’t make either of them. We went in to win grand champions at that competition. So much weight in my shoulder for having to learn it in less than 48 hours, but it was so worth it.
