A musical piece with a real, well told story. (Thanks to Betty Thatcher Newsinger). Sung brilliantly by Annie Haslam.The story could be a folk song by Minstrels. But the orchestration makes it almost Classical.The band performs at her best with a great tune, a superb arangement and great Spanish guitar playing, gives the best atmosphere.A song about despair, Religious belief testing and you might place it in Spain or somewhere Latin America.One of the may pearls that Renaissance has given us thru the years and still , up till now.
