I went to rehab several years ago to recover from drugs. I was so lost, so empty, had no direction on where I wanted to go with my life. I felt like my life was not worth living anymore because I let everyone in my life down. I had a therapist while I was in recovery, and he had me listen to this song literally on a loop our entire session. And it gave me motivation and purpose to do better for my life. It gave me a reason to want to become better for myself and those I love. This song saved my life. Every time I’m in a rut, I’m feeling down, I play this to remind me of the person I’ve become and want to continue to be.
