it was a warm summers day....in 1978....when i awaited my first allman brothers concert at poplar creek in chicago.....i remember wondering ...im about to see brother gregg belt out the best damn blues expressions that a body has a right to... all i can say....that nothing in all my lifes experiences could compare ..to that moment!!!!..it started out with....i dont want you......its not my cross to bear.....and then all my wildest dreams came true....as greg let loose on the lyrics....like no other human being had a right to....
