Peter Banks had similar talent. This is remarkable!

This sounds so increbibly like Pat Martino, and not very much at all like Wes, who always played lots of octaves and chord solos.

The "Man"...John Leslie "Wes" Montgomery, no one else like this man!

Also, this is so hard to play such intricate octave-based solos just with your thumb, to add...Wes Montgomery, on top of that technicality, achieved a certain simple beauty through his instrument.

Listening to jazz has me thinking...I wasted a lot of time listening to math rock.

this is absolutely a great collection of Wes guitar work.

This is my favorite Wes album. Also the best sound quality of his Riverside albums.
